Does NYU have freshman orientation?
Even before your first year begins, you will get to know Liberal Studies and NYU through several orientation events. LS Orientation brings together new students, returning students, faculty, and staff before classes begin and during the first few days of the semester to prepare you for the academic year.
Is orientation required for accepted students at NYU?
OGS International Student Orientation is mandatory for your first semester in the US and comes in two parts: the US Immigration Requirements Training (a self-paced online module) and the International Student Meeting.
How long is NYU orientation?
Pre-Orientation will open online starting on Monday, August 23, and will take about 90 minutes in total to finish including watching videos, reading, and completing quizzes. You can complete it at your convenience, from anywhere, at anytime, as long as you finish before Saturday, August 28 at 11:59 PM EDT.
